Bridge to Success Program for First-Semester Students

The Bridge to Success program offers first-semester students an opportunity to get their Benedictine career off to an excellent start. This program is held every August and provides opportunities in many areas important for success:

Math
  • College-level math expectations
  • Preparation for math placement exam
College Study Skills
  • Time management and life balance
  • Test-and note-taking tips
Career Development
  • Résumé development (necessary for on-campus employment)
  • Introduction to employer expectations
Social Opportunities
  • Multiple opportunities to establish friendships

  • Avoiding plagiarism
  • Practice essay writing (tutoring provided)
Leadership
  • Leadership training
  • Student organizations and clubs
Campus Orientation
  • Bookstore, library, BenUnion and other important places on campus (by the end of it, you will become a resource for others as they try to find their way around campus.)
