Karen has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Marketing leadership with leading retailers, including Consumer Goods and global Foodservice suppliers, as VP of Marketing; and also held a recent interim SVP of Marketing and Strategic Planning role for a regional retailer focused on multicultural marketing. She has served on the special Advisory Board of the Global Retail Marketing Association. Most recently, Karen has held a Global Sales & Marketing Training role with global and regional reach, including distance and web based training delivery to Sales and Product Teams in North, Central and South America, APAC, China and EMEA; built curriculum and development plans with the Learn.com platform; and driving new education menus in alignment with key core competencies.
In the area of education, Karen has been Adjunct Faculty for over 7 years for Universities in Michigan, including Lawrence Technological University, with courses at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels.
