Willard (Bill) Brestal was graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS degree in 1964. He received his juris doctorate degree from Loyola University Law School in 1967. He has also completed “continued legal education classes of approximately 20 hours per year from 1967 – present, which included at least two hours of ethical standards per year.
Mr. Bill Brestal was president of the law firm Dommermuth, Brestal, Cobine & West, Ltd., (123 Water Street, Naperville, Illinois, 60540) from 1981 – 2009, he is presently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moser Enterprises, Inc., and has practiced in the field of zoning and real estate land transactions, negotiations, contractual agreements, trial representation, estate planning, domestic relations and managing a law firm since 1968. His practice is centered in the City of Naperville and neighboring municipalities within the Counties of DuPage and Will, although he has zoned parcels in Kane and DeKalb Counties; his law firm has also operated an office in Aurora and Chicago, Illinois. Within his 42-year practice he has represented developers and land owners during their processing of annexations, rezonings, plattings and special uses for approximately 35,000 acres of land. He has been a panelist and speaker at seminars, particularly relating to “school and park donation requirements”, “negotiated zoning,” and redevelopment of Downtown Naperville.
During his 42 years in Naperville, he has been involved in many charitable organizations (i.e., Edward Hospital, YMCA, Chamber of Commerce, Good Samaritan, Little Friends, Safety Town and others and has served on numerous Boards of directors of same as a member, and chairman of many.
