Professional Background:
Kathleen has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In her most recent corporate role as Senior Vice President, Organization & Leadership Development for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare System, Kathleen was responsible for establishing and growing the OD/LD function. Her accomplishments include the design and implementation of a successful talent-management system; values-based 360 feedback system and individual development plans for leaders; implementation of an electronic learning management system, implementation of the annual system-wide associate opinion survey, and successful launching of the system's first diversity and cultural competence initiative and management trainee program. Kathleen is currently a Principal Partner of Buchman Consulting Partners, a small consulting firm that specializes in delivery of organization development and human resource management services. In addition to serving in an adjunct faculty role at Benedictine University, Dr. Buchman was recently invited to partner once again with the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters and was appointed as the first Lay Sponsor Member Board Member for the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare System.
