leadership skills to the non-profit sector in February 2007.Ms. Canino-Baker spent the greater part of her career in
banking at First National Bank of Chicago/Bank One; now JPMorgan Chase.There she had a successful 28-year career in
Commercial Banking, Corporate Trust, Investment Management, and Commercial
Credit Card.
Ms. Canino-Baker
served as the Managing Director of Programs and Marketing for the Hispanic
Alliance for Career Enhancement, (HACE), in Chicago.HACE
is a national organization that serves a Latino constituency of 35,000 in
Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. Ms. Canino-Baker
was responsible for creating program strategy and managing the P&L of $1.6 million.Her team was responsible for planning and executing
annual regional career conferences in five cities that served over 4000
constituents She developed two leadership programs
that are now institutionalized at HACE. The first program launched in the fall
of 2007 was a Leadership Development Program geared towards strengthening the
Latino Employee Resource Groups leaders at twenty-five Fortune 500 companies.The most recent program launched was the Mujeres de HACE program, which targeted fifty Latina
leaders from various industries including the Fortune 500 to improve the
Latina's work-life balance skills.
Ms. Canino-Baker
has a passion for seeing everyone perform at the level that helps individuals
achieve their dreams.As a result, she started her own
business in 2007, LNC Coaching, LLC.The
core services include Executive/Life Coaching, Women's Programs, and Cultural
Competency Programs. In 2010, she joined the speaker circuit on the topics of
work-life balance, branding yourself, and empowering
employee resource groups.She is certified in Myers
Briggs and Insights Discovery self-assessment programs.Professional
Coaching certified by International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling
and Psychotherapy, Inc.
