Professional Background:
I spend about half my time as an Executive Coach and guide in Leadership
Development. The other half - I serve as adjunct faculty at Lewis
University and Benedictine University. With over twenty years of marketing,
management and communication experience, I strive to bring real world
experience to the classroom.
I spent sixteen years with IBM Corporation
selling, managing, recruiting and training. At IBM I worked extensively with
customers – developing solutions, integrated marketing programs and developing
/ delivering business seminars and executive presentations.
Now, as a consultant, I have had the
opportunity to work with leading edge organizations, such as McDonald’s
Corporation, in leadership development. In the past few years, I have delivered
management training and Executive Coaching for McDonald’s Corporation in Japan,
Singapore, and Shanghai, China. And in 2010, I worked with a partner in
Shanghai, delivering training to one of the largest multi-national classes at
the newest Hamburger University (HU) in the world.
I have provided coaching and training in
interpersonal communication, presentation skills, business writing,
professional development, conflict management, emotional intelligence, team
development, and other areas key to success in business.
As a university professor, my courses have
included: Communication, Business and Professional Speaking, Organizational
Communication, and Leadership. I have also been a SME (Subject Matter Expert)
in design and delivery of undergraduate and graduate level courses, developing
and delivering on-ground, on-line and blended courses in Communication,
