Professional Background:
DOJ New Teacher Induction – annual 2 day seminar for teachers new to the
Diocese of Joliet. Topics include vision and mission, legal responsibilities,
innovative educational pedagogy, and teaching as a ministry; Guest lecturer for
Benedictine University Teacher Education programs each semester discussing job
seeking skills including interviewing techniques; Consultant for the
Archdiocese of Chicago Area Schools Committee on starting new educational
facilities and programs.
I am principal of All Saints Catholic
Academy; a uniquely innovative Catholic grade school established in 2005 as the
first new school in the Diocese of Joliet in 43 years. Our school serves a
diverse student body and acts as a teacher education training site and lab
school for several Universities.
