Professional Background:
Trisha Svehla has over 30 years of experience as a
hands-on practitioner in all aspects of human resource management. She was
employed for over 13 years with the American Hospital Association. Her
responsibilities included human resources and operations management. While at
the AHA, Trisha was the prime initiator and facilitator for the Association's
internal organizational change efforts contributing immeasurably to the
achievement of the Association's human resource and organizational objectives.
In this role, she provided extensive coaching to all levels of management and
staff, ranging from performance and career coaching to identifying dysfunctional
behaviors impacting career advancement.
Ms. Svehla holds a
Masters in Management (MBA) from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois
and a BA from Ambassador University in Pasadena, CA. Trisha co-authored Managing
the MosaicÔa book addressing the dramatic
changes affecting today's workplace as a result of changing demographics, norms
and values. Trisha serves as adjunct professor at Benedictine University in
Lisle, IL on human resource topics such as workforce diversity and affirmative
action.
Trisha is a frequent keynote speaker and
trainer at national and regional business and association conferences on
various critical human resource issues including workforce diversity,
organizational change and organizational leadership.
