Professional Background:
I am a retired college professor from Prairie State College with 35 years of administrative, teaching, counseling experience. During my tenure at Prairie State College, in addition to my teaching, I served as department chairperson for 15 years, and assistant dean for two years. I have worked as an adjunct English professor at Chicago State University, Governors State University and University of Illinois at Chicago; I have served as a student advisor/English instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am an avid volunteer in organizations that promote the pursuit of higher education.
