Tanesha D. H. Pittman
Tanesha is an educator, innovator, international inspirational speaker, spiritual life coach and budding author. She has over 15 years experience in the academic, government and corporate sectors. Tanesha currently serves as an Executive Director for Benedictine University's Moser College of Adult and Professional Studies, where she has pioneered several distinctive programs, including the unprecedented Master of Science in Leadership degree program for women. Tanesha is an accomplished orator who has spoken for a plethora of organizations, including the Oxford Roundtable at the University of Oxford, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Spirit Magazine, National Diversity Council, and Solid Rock Women's Conference in Kenya, just to name a few. Tanesha serves on several boards, including the University of Illinois Extension State Advisory Council (chairperson). Tanesha embarked upon an independent mission project to serve and minister to the people of Kenya in Njoro, Nakuru, Limuru, Narok and Rrotian. She was one of 15 elite female leaders from across the United States, chosen to participate in Leadership America's international leadership program in the UAE - Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. She is the recipient of many accolades, including the Windy City Woman of Color Advocate Diamond Award in 2010.
Beryl Ambrose-Davin
Beryl Ambrose-Davin currently serves as the assistant to the executive director for the Women’s Institute for Global Leadership. Beryl worked as a customer service representative at JP Morgan Chase. She simultaneously worked in the hospitality industry (Choice & Marriott Group of Hotels) in various capacities as a Guest Service Representative, Night Auditor, Office and Operations Manager. Prior to coming to the US, she worked as an Executive Secretary and Office Administrator to the Managing Director/CEO of Renaissance Worldwide (now Cedar Consulting); Executive Secretary to the Chief Executive Officer & Senior Vice President of DANONE India; and Executive Director of iB&W Communications; Communication Assistant at Jet Airways; Office Assistant to the Director of the Diocesan Catechetical & Pastoral Centre. She began her working career at Scotiabank (The Bank of Nova Scotia); Siemens Ltd; and Burlingtons' Agencies; Beryl also provided honorary secretarial services to the Rector and Professors at the Diocesan Seminary whenever needed.
Beryl received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Sophia College, Mumbai (Bombay) University. She later achieved a diploma in Personnel Management from St. Xavier's Institute of Management, Mumbai. Beryl gained certification in Microsoft Office, Business English, Basic French and Secretarial Practices. She continues her personal development by researching, reading and attending courses whenever available. Beryl is multi-lingual, besides English she also speaks Hindi, Marathi, Konkani.
Beryl enjoys music, art, reading, traveling, and swimming, working on new and creative projects. She is known to be a great conversationalist. She belongs to St. Dominic's Parish in Bolingbrook. In her personal time she helps with the youth ministry and community development activities. She has undergone training to work with children and youth per the catholic diocesan requirements - 'Protecting God's Children for Adults'. Beryl takes pleasure in helping others especially children and the aged. In her own simple ways and sphere she has helped to empower women and believes strongly in it!
