Bachelor of Business Administration Admission Requirements

Accounting

The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting is a campus-based accelerated program for adults. Students learn the fundamentals of accounting practices, managerial accounting, cost accounting, federal taxation and are prepared for professional licensing examinations.

  • A student must have earned at least 60 hours of transferable college credit and have taken prerequisite courses (MATH 105 or 110 and ACCT 111 and 112) to enter the program. Pre-advising may be required for some students.
  • To earn the B.B.A. in Accounting, students must complete all of the major, cognate and University graduation requirements. These requirements should be discussed with an advisor.

Business Analytics

The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Analytics is a campus-based accelerated program for adults. The program teaches students the practice of using business analytics to evaluate an organization's productivity, identifying trends which enable a business to make informed, data-driven decisions

  • A student must have earned at least 60 hours of transferable college credit and have taken prerequisite courses (MATH 105 or 110 and ACCT 111 and 112; ECON 101 and 102, MGT 150 and a spreadsheet course) to enter the program. Pre-advising may be required for some students.
  • To earn the B.B.A. in Business Analytics, students must complete all of the major, cognate and University graduation requirements. These requirements can be discussed with an academic advisor.

Finance

The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance is a campus-based accelerated program for adults. Students learn the fundamentals of finance through thorough exposure to finance-related principles and how they are applied to the national economy and the business world.

  • A student must have earned at least 60 hours of transferable college credit and have taken prerequisite coursework (MATH 105 or 110 and ACCT 111 and 112 and ECON 101 and 102) to enter the program. Pre-advising may be required for some students.
  • To earn the B.B.A. in Finance, students must complete all of the major, cognate and University graduation requirements. These requirements should be discussed with an advisor.
