The Enrollment Center at Benedictine University is committed to making the admissions process as convenient as possible for you. The Enrollment Center offers prospective adult students the opportunity to set up an appointment to meet with an Admissions Counselor. At this time an unofficial evaluation of previous college credit, if any, can be completed. The Admission Counselor will work with you through the admissions process, notifying you as documentation is received in your file. Once an admission file is complete it will take approximately 24-48 hours to process.

The Adult Accelerated Undergraduate Degree Programs, offered through the Division of Continuing Studies, are designed for the adult student. We look for students to be a minimum of 22 years old. The student must have 20 transferable semester hours and a cumulative of a 2.0 grade point average out of a 4.0 scale from all the colleges or universities attended previously. If a student has fewer than the 20 transferable semester hours, then freshman requirements apply. Benedictine University has rolling admission allowing students to apply and admissions decisions to be made throughout the year with no deadline restrictions.

Be sure to complete the following checklist to ensure your admission file is ready to review.

  1. Adult Undergraduate Degree Programs application (see below)
  2. $40 application fee
  3. High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) (if no previous college credits or if you have less than 20 transferable semester hours from colleges/universities)
  4. All college transcripts (official and sealed)
  5. Cumulative grade point average 2.0/4.0
  6. Adult learner (22 years or older)
  7. Two years of full-time work experience
