COD/BenU 3+1 Bachelor of Arts in Management Program

Admissions Requirements
  • Completion of the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from COD in Accounting, Management or Marketing
  • All required prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better before enrolling in Benedictine year 4 courses – see below
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
  • A minimum age of 21 years at time of commencing year 4 Benedictine courses
Prerequisite coursework

Students must have A.A.S degree in Accounting, Management or Marketing from COD conferred and have the following prerequisite courses completed, with a grade of C or better, before enrolling in Benedictine year 4 courses:

  • MATH 1428: College Algebra
  • MATH 1635: Statistics
  • PSYC 1100: Introduction to Psychology or SOC 1100: Introduction to Sociology

Please note:  All COD year 1 – 3 and Benedictine year 4 coursework must be satisfactorily completed before the B.A. in Management can be conferred by Benedictine University.


2014 – 15 Academic Year Tuition is $445 per credit for Benedictine year 4 coursework.

COD courses will be charged COD tuition rates. Consult with COD for current rates. Tuition is subject to change.


Benedictine courses will be offered in a learning team format. A group of students will start and progress through the courses together in a set schedule, taking one class at a time. Each course will last approximately 5 weeks and all Benedictine courses will be completed in approximately 15 months. Classes will meet at College of DuPage Tuesday evenings from 6pm – 10pm (day of the week is subject to change). Learning teams begin each spring, summer and fall term provided there are a minimum of 15 students enrolled.

  • Submit completed 3+1 BAM application
  • Submit official transcripts from COD and any other college or university attended.  Electronic transcripts can be sent to

It is highly recommended that students submit the Benedictine 3+1 BAM application and all required documents to Benedictine University two terms prior to completing A.A.S degree.

In order to receive updates about the 3+1 Partnership program including information on fairs, expected changes in requirements and information sessions, complete COD's 3+1 transfer application. This form should be submitted to COD's Admissions and Outreach office located in the Student Services Center (SSC), Room 2207. This application is not an application for admission to Benedictine's 3+1 BAM program.
