College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP tests cover material that students would typically take during their first two years in college. If you feel that you have sufficient knowledge in a specific area of study and score high enough on the CLEP test, you may be able to earn collge credit. To learn more about the CLEP test and the areas of academic subjects offered for CLEP tests, please visit the CLEP exams page (will open in a new window) on the College Board (will open in a new window) Web site.

At Benedictine University, a minimum score of 50 is required to receive credit. Please visit the course equivalency guide for CLEP exams (will open in a new window) in the Advising Matters (will open in a new window) Web site.
