Strong Roots, Stronger Branches

Branching Out

Benedictine University students are encouraged to achieve a balance in their social and professional lives. They come to understand the self as an integrated physical, intellectual and spiritual being. While the University values the dignity of work and study, it recognizes that the balance with leisure and quiet contemplation is equally important. Living a life in balance helps to enrich one’s personal life while fostering friendships and relationships that can span a lifetime.

Our many student organizations enrich campus life by sponsoring ambitious events such as concerts and lectures and participating in a variety of community social programs. The Director of Student Activities and the Student Community Development Director seek to assist these students in developing programs that augment our outstanding academic environment.

Residence halls provide students with the opportunity to combine academic life with social development. Our residence halls provide energy, social interaction and the simplicity of on-campus living while putting the University’s resources at student's fingertips. Students may also choose to live at Founder's Woods apartments on the University campus.
