Amanda Skarosi graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.

At a recent college graduation ceremony I attended, the keynote speaker told the new graduates "by the time most of you are 38 years old you will have had 10 - 16 jobs." With that prediction it seems obtaining an advanced degree - building and/or adding to your skill set takes on a new importance.

Alyssa Szynal earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Before joining the Benedictine community, she worked as a teaching assistant at various grades, including elementary school and college levels.
