Andrew Carl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management at Benedictine in 2011 after completing his general education at a local community college. Carl enjoys watching Chicago sports, hanging out with his wife and family, and occasionally indulging in some video games.

"One of my favorite things about the University is the openness and diversity of the community. All walks of life and ways of thinking are represented and respected. This serves to strengthen our academic and social environment as a whole. My two favorite buildings on campus are the Coal Ben and the Rice Fitness Center. You can fuel up at one location and burn it off at the other!

"As cliché as it sounds, the best advice I received as a student was to take control of my own destiny. True motivation to succeed must first come from inside."

Michael Kalynyuk earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Benedictine and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration.

"I have many great memories studying and meeting friends in the main hallway of Kindlon Hall, and the Kindlon Coffee Shop has gotten me through some of the most difficult tests. I tell incoming students to take full advantage of every opportunity that they get. We have so many resources on campus that will help them succeed in achieving their goals."

Kalynyuk works with students who are considering transferring to Benedictine from Moraine Valley Community College, Harper College, Oakton Community College and Joliet Junior College.
