College of Business Dinner

Wednesday, April 30th | 5:30p.m.
Krasa Student Center

The College of Business and the Student Senate cordially invite alumni, faculty, staff, and students to the College of Business: A Tradition of Success dinner on Wednesday, April 30, 2104 in the Krasa Student Center, Second Floor on the Lisle IL campus. There will be a Wine and Cheese reception from 5:30pm-6:30pm with dinner starting at 6:30pm. A program will immediately follow dinner. Please dress in business attire.

Coffee House Networking Event Series

Wednesday, April 30th | 6p.m.
Kindlon Hall of Learning, Room 162 and Fr. Michael E. Komechak, O.S.B Art Gallery
Benedictine students and alumni are invited to attend this month’s networking event which will begin in Kindlon, room 162, to network with and listen to guest speakers Stacy Jo Barber, Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at New Horizon Center; Adjunct Professor at Benedictine University and Brendan Shanley, Art Director at McGuffin Creative Group and photographer at Lost In Print, LLC.    

Following the networking portion of the evening, all will proceed to the fifth floor to hear Ms. Barber and Mr. Shanley’s presentations in the Fr. Michael E. Komechak, O.S.B Art Gallery. The two speakers will discuss their businesses & professions, tell the stories of their own career paths, and offer advice on the application process as well as effective networking and interviewing strategies. 

Please bring your resume and business/networking cards to share. Coffee, tea, chili, sandwiches and dessert will be served! This program is free to all Benedictine alumni and students. Tom Wirtz Award for Courage and Integrity Dinner

Join us for a private dinner to honor Benedictine University alumnus, Tom Wirtz. After dinner, two Benedictine student-athletes will be presented the Tom Wirtz Award for Courage and Integrity at the conclusion of the 2014 Benny Awards, the athletics end-of-year banquet.

Benedictine10 Architecture Cruise

First Lady Riverside Gardens Dock

Benedict10 alumni (from the class of 2004-2013 and soon to include the class of 2014) are invited to join us for an architectural tour aboard Chicago’s First Lady in the heart of downtown. A must-see for Chicagoans and tourists alike, this up-close-and-personal cruise highlights some of Chicago’s most iconic skyscrapers. Be sure to take advantage of our group rate!

Ticket price is: $36 per person

Saturday, June 21 | 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Viva Las BenU! Show off your poker, roulette, blackjack and crap skills while Benedictine faculty/staff dealers help raise money for a great cause. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Alumni Board Scholarship Award, which provides a Benedictine graduate with the opportunity to further their academic career by pursuing an advanced degree at Benedictine's Moser College of Adult and Professional Studies. 

Ticket prices are: 
$40 per person | $60 for couples | $50 for BenU Sweethearts 

This includes appetizers, two beverage tickets and $100 worth of gambling chips.
