Benedictine University is dedicated to the education of undergraduate and graduate students from diverse ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds. As an academic community committed to liberal arts and professional education distinguished and guided by our Roman Catholic tradition and Benedictine heritage, we prepare our students for a lifetime as active, informed and responsible citizens and leaders in the world community.
Benedictine University is grounded in the spirit of the founders who based their lives and work on St. Benedict's Rule for Monks, written in the early sixth century. Benedictine University builds its educational life and efforts on the same values which Benedictine men and women espouse:
a commitment to academic excellence
a search for God by oneself and with others
a tradition of hospitality
an emphasis on a life lived in balance
a dedication to responsible stewardship of the earth
an appreciation for living and working in community
Thank you to the Class of 1965 for joining us on Homecoming Weekend 2015!
Members of the St. Procopius College Class of 1965 enjoyed a wonderful reunion weekend full of reconnecting and reminiscing with their classmates. They went on a campus tour followed by the Golden Eagles induction ceremony and dinner on Friday night, where they each received their official Golden Eagle pin. On Saturday, the group enjoyed attending the grand opening of the Daniel L. Goodwin Hall of Business, tailgating and watching the Benedictine Eagles football team defeat Concordia University - Wisconsin from the Presidential Suites. They were also honored on the field during halftime.
We look forward to celebrating with the Class of 1966 next year!
