Welcome to our class website! We hope that you will enjoy the
information and photos on this website, and we invite you to submit
and periodically update your own information and photos.

During our 45th reunion*** in October 2007 several
of your classmates volunteered to work with the alumni, staff
and administration at Benedictine University to create our own
website, where we can summarize what’s happened to us since
our days at St. Procopius College, list our current contact information
so that we can stay in closer touch and enjoy occasional trips
down memory lane. The result is this website---the first class
to do so. Weren’t we always #1?
We also hope that this website will inspire us to share our thoughts
and perspectives with each other over the coming years even though
we are widely scattered. One refrain from the 45th reunion (and
the 40th, and the 30th, etc.) was that after just a few minutes
together, we immediately reconnected. We forged strong bonds during
our time together at Proco, and they remain strong today even
though we may not have seen each other in years.
We want to acknowledge the hard work and ingenuity of Benedictine
University’s Eileen Clark in creating and implementing this
website and Alumni Director Julie Nelligan for supporting us in
this endeavor as well as all our other class activities.

that you may have in using it, or any suggestions for improvements.

***If you weren’t there, you missed a great gathering, so
don’t fail to attend the 50th! And yes, we did have a drink
or two at the Squirrel Cage. Some of us enjoyed a Friday round
of golf, shopping or a nice lunch and casual stroll along the
famous Naperville Riverwalk. We also enjoyed tailgating and watching
Benedictine’s double overtime victory over Aurora University
in the new stadium from the Alumni Skybox. We had a great dinner
on Friday evening at the Lisle Hilton and enjoyed Benedictine
Heritage wine with Saturday’s meal on campus as well as a
talk and brief summary of the season from head football coach
Jon Cooper. Abbot Dismas joined us for dinner on Friday night.
