Lecture Series - "The Art of Single Tasking"

Date: January 30

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Campus: Lisle

Location: Webinar

Event Sponsor: MSMOB

Contact: Elizabeth Reniche    ereniche@ben.edu

  Event Description:

Register for this webinar here: http://www.ben.edu/manage/msmobevents.cfm

In late 2016, Greg Werstler, MSMOB set out to photograph 100 consecutive sunsets and share them on social media (#100sunsets). Initially, he thought it would be kind of fun, and might lead to a couple of cool pictures. What developed was more than just some pretty pictures; it was an exercise in Single-Tasking. Single-tasking is the practice of being present, open, and engaged in a single moment or task. Through sharing the sunsets he captured and the lessons he learned over the 100 days, Greg will dispel some of myths you believe to be true about multi-tasking. You will leave with actionable tips on how to be more present in your professional life, your leadership style, and create a balance between your personal and work life.

The webinar itself will be a practice in single-tasking, with lots of interaction and fun, so don't think you're going to be able to catch up on emails during this hour.

You will also learn about other exciting events coming up in the MSMOB and Ph.D. in OD programs at Benedictine University!
