Do you wonder how Medicare works? Do you understand how you or your family members become eligible for Medicare? Did you know that nearly 60 million Americans are enrolled in Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs?

Please consider attending one of two Medicare 101 presentations that will be offered by Sandie Hord from Gallagher Benefit Services, Benedictine University’s employee benefits consultant. 

Sandie will be available following each session and by phone or email to discuss individual situations, particularly those faculty and staff members (or their spouses) who are eligible for both Benedictine University’s medical plan offerings and Medicare.

  • Get help with a term paper from writing faculty and the peer writing tutors.
  • Get answers to research questions from a BenU librarian.
  • Get help with your personal statement from the writing learning specialist (Ms. Smith).
  • Because we will be serving pizza and cookies, we are asking students to register in advance for this free event. 

Please contact Ms. Smith at axsmith@ben.edu to register by noon on April 29. You can come last minute without registering, but there may not be food for you!
