The Maintenance Department is responsible for providing general building maintenance on campus.  Maintaining over a dozen buildings consuming 600,000 square feet, the maintenance staff offers specialty services including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.  The staff also assists the Project Management team with special construction projects. Below outlines the primary services for the Maintenance Department.
	Maintenance Services: General Maintenance Carpentry Services Furniture Repair Locks / Keys Plumbing Painting Heating Ventilation / Air conditioning Electrical Services	Art Rutherford first came to Benedictine in 1993.   Art has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the HVAC and maintenance industry.  In 1995 Art assumed the role of the campus electrician while continuing to oversee HVAC. In the fall of 2000, Art was promoted to lead the maintenance team, becoming Campus Services Maintenance Manager.  In this role, Art oversees nine staff members who monitor all the maintenance and mechanical items on campus - 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
