The course may include such topics as education and the colonial/postcolonial condition; intellectual culture and imperialism; the politics of tourism; identity and diaspora; travel, migration, and globalization; and trauma, genocide, and historical fiction. Counts as diversity eletive for majors. Spring, odd years.
