Conversatio, is a monthly informal roundtable discussion of topics germane to living the university mission and is one component of Benedictine University’s Hiring and Orientation for Mission program for new employees. Typically, the first 15 minutes are allotted for socializing over hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, followed by a 30-45 minute presentation. Ample time is reserved after the presentation for group discussion with the presenter.  Conversatio is aimed at building community and perpetuating the charism of the university founders.

Conversatio sessions are OPEN to all faculty and staff. Gatherings  take place on Fridays beginning at 3:00 P.M. during the regular academic year.
