Introducing Benedictine University and Springfield College in Illinois

When it comes to China, Benedictine is committed for the long term. Benedictine launched its first Chinese venture in 2004 when we received government permission to offer joint programs in northeast China.  Today, Benedictine offers a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) through Shenyang University of Technology, Hohai University in Nanjing and South China University of Technology in Guangzhou. The Benedictine Master of Science in Management Information Systems (M.S.M.I.S.) is available through Shenyang Jianzhu University.  We have formed strong partnerships with these Chinese institutions of higher learning and are committed to developing our Chinese programs to their full potential in the coming years.

In 2007, Benedictine established the China Institute, which is headquartered on the main campus in Lisle. The Institute is responsible for growing our programs in China, building our Chinese programs on our United States campuses, and attracting the best and brightest Chinese students. Thanks to the Institute, Chinese students who choose Benedictine will find it easy to connect with other students and become integrated into campus life. The Institute sponsors lectures and workshops as well as language and cultural programs. Our “China Ben” student association is facilitated by the Institute and comprised of Chinese students who are interested in taking an active role in campus life.  Our Chinese students have found it easy to make friends and fit into the University’s academic and social life.
