Benedictine University is an inclusive academic community dedicated to teaching and learning, scholarship and service, truth and justice, as inspired by the Catholic intellectual tradition, the social teaching of the Church, and the principles of wisdom in the Rule of St. Benedict.
Benedictine University aspires to be a thought leader in Catholic higher education. We seek to provide a transformative and integrative educational experience grounded in Benedictine values, helping students shape lives of meaning and purpose as engaged citizens who care for the earth, welcome people of diverse faiths and cultures, and promote the common good.
Information: CLL is happy to share campus events for you to attend this fall. The events are free and no registration is required. This information is listed under the Campus Events tab. Please remember to check the CLL website for updates.
Update: The CLL was held at the National Moser Center for Adult Learning, which has been renamed the School for Graduate, Adult, and Professional Education (SGAPE). In 2011, Benedictine determined that daytime community classes would be ideal at the Naperville campus as the classrooms were used primarily for evening classes. CLL expanded to fit the available space.
In 2016, SGAPE has been relocated to Goodwin Hall School of Business on main campus in Lisle. The Moser Center in Naperville has been renamed the Benedictine University Naperville Campus and the space there will be converted to offices instead of remaining classrooms. Construction continues on the building and classrooms in Naperville. There have been several construction delays since the July start; thus pushing out completion into 2017. Classroom 105 and 106 continue to be used for storage, pending a final decision.
No final decision has been made as to available classroom space for CLL in Naperville or main campus. Due to construction schedules, temporary office facilities of numerous departments and general classroom needs, it remains impractical to schedule any CLL classes for 2016.
Benedictine University will continue to assess the facility and classroom availability for 2017 CLL classes. In the meantime, we invite you to take advantage of the List of Campus Events available at the Lisle Campus.
