The Accounting Club gives members the opportunity to combine their academic knowledge with real world situations and gives them the chance to network with professionals through presentations and discussions. If you would like to gain accounting experience and further your education at Benedictine, the Accounting Club is for you!
The Accounting Club is now offering students an accounting mentorship program! Underclassmen are paired with an upperclassman mentor who can help them with accounting homework and studying, as well as general advice.
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 12:20-1:20 p.m. in Goodwin Hall, Room 311.
The Investment Club started in 2000 after the university established a fund for students to invest $100,000 in non-option trading. Since 2001, this student run organization has increased the portfolio value to $240,000.
The Investment Club gives students hands-on experience with both bond and equity trading and portfolio management.
Meetings are held every Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Goodwin Hall, Room 217. For more information, contact Jeffrey Madura, faculty advisor.
The Benedictine University Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) provides students with hands-on marketing experience and a better understanding of the role that marketing plays in the business world of today.
