Based on the number of applications, you may be separated into interviewing time blocks. This allows for equity among the students interviewing and a manageable work load for the committee members. Dr. Tischler will evaluate the applications each session to determine if time block sessions are necessary. If this happens, you will be notified with whom you will need to set up your interviews via email no later than the Monday after the applications are due. Historically, Fall session does not have as many applicants as the Spring session.

The Committee members will have sign up sheets posted on their doors during the application period. The names of the members are:

  • Ms. Jane Boumgarden (Sociology & Psychology - SH 228A)
  • Dr. Anthony DeLegge (Mathematics - BK 127)
  • Dr. James Fackenthall (Biology - BK 340)
  • Dr. Darya Aleinikava (Physics - BK 331)
  • Dr. Philip Novack-Gottshall (Biology - BK 332) - Sign Up for your Interview on his website
  • Ms. Alice Sima (Pre-Professional Health - BK 322)
  • Dr. Monica Tischler (Biology - BK 333), Chairperson

You should schedule to meet with Dr. Tischler after you interview with your other  committee members. After all of your interviews and your meeting with Dr. Tischler are completed, the committee will meet to discuss your application. You will be contacted by Dr. Tischler when the committee is finished, and you will need to meet with her for a brief summary of your evaluation.
