ICWSP Internship Opportunities

NOTE: Students must be residents of the State of Illinois, eligible for work-study assistance, and in good academic standing. Final decisions are made by the internship supervisors. Preference will be given to students with freshmen, sophomore or junior status and with a high financial need so they can use these experiences as a way to explore careers in STEM and non-profit/human services areas.


IBHE requirements stipulate that intern recipients be permanent residents of the State of Illinois

An unofficial copy of your Benedictine University transcript is required for this internship. Please check "YES" box for permission to access your Benedictine University transcripts.

Write a statement (not more than one page) explaining your career objectives and why you are interested in participating in the ICWSP Internship Program (beyond financial support).

* For Villa St. Benedict - Describe your commitment to serving others as a career or a volunteer. * For Happilabs - Describe how you perceive this internship will help with your career aspirations.

You need to arrange for one letter on your behalf to arrive at the College of Science no later than the February 15 deadline date. This letter should come from faculty, supervisors, or professionals with whom you have studied. They can either write a short letter of recommendation or fill out the Benedictine University "Reference Form" (link below form)
