Early Acceptance Agreement with Ross Medical School


Ross University Medical SchoolRoss University School of Medicine (RUSM) has an official agreement that will give BenU pre-medical students who have completed their junior year and have met the academic criteria, opportunities for early acceptance into RUSM in the semester following their graduation.  Click for more information on qualifications for Undergraduate students.

Dual Acceptance Agreement with The Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) at Midwestern University


Midwestern University DGThe Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) at Midwestern University has a Dual Acceptance Program with BenU undergraduate students. Under the provisions of the agreement, selected students who successfully complete the specified coursework at BenU will be granted an early acceptance to CCP.   Click for more information on qualifications for Undergraduate students.

Partnership Agreements


Hines Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital:

  • Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science clinical education partnership for senior year clinical program requirements completion (13 months classroom/clinicals - graduates in August)

Midwestern University's Chicago College of Pharmacy:

  • Pre-Pharmacy dual acceptance 2+4 (2 years at BenU and 4 years at CCP leading to Doctor of Pharmacy)

Northwestern Memorial Hospital:

  • Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography clinical education partnership for senior year clinical program requirements completion (18 months classroom/clinicals - graduates in December)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology clinical education partnership for senior year clinical program requirements completion (13 months classroom/clinicals - graduates in August)
  • Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy clinical education partnership for senior year clinical program requirements completion (13 months classroom/clinicals - gradutes in August)

Northwestern Memorial Hospital strongly recommends that a student be trained as a CNA and have "hands-on" experience before applying.

Rush University:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Life Science (Perfusion Technology or Respiratory Care) 3+2 (Bachelor of Arts from BenU (3 yrs) and Master of Science (2 yrs) from Rush - graduates with a Masters degree)
  • Rush University College of Nursing has a contractual agreement between Rush College of Nursing and Benedictine University whereby a student receives their diploma and all or the majority of their education from Benedictine. Upon meeting the admission requirements of Rush, applicants are qualified to receive a guaranteed admission to the Generalist Entry Master’s (GEM) Program. Students who attend Benedictine must earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative and science GPA on a 4-point scale and be recommended to the Rush nursing program by their health career advisor (Ms. Alice Sima). Preferential admission into the GEM program is dependent upon the number of qualified applications received during the year from the affiliate school.
