About Us

Falling under the University's Stewardship Development Office, the department of University Events is priveleged to provide Benedictine students and its supporting community with large scale events throughout the year that highlight the University's rich tradition of hospitality.

Most of our events are generated out of the Office of Stewardship Development, however, we do assist several other departments throughout the campus with planning, organization, and execution of their events as well.

BenBash 2012 featuring Cobra Starship

In celebration of the end of another school year and welcoming our seniors into our alumni community, we have partnered with the Benedictine University Alumni Association in hosting BenBash, a new spring tradition providing a day of entertainment on campus.  This year we will feature Cobra Starship, a nationally recognized band that is at the peak of their career.

College of Science Reunion

Friday, February 17, 2012
6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Birck Hall/Krasa Center

All College of Science alumni and faculty/staff are encouraged to attend this reunion.  Cocktails begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Birck Hall of Science outside of the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum followed by a sit down dinner and presentation 7:00 p.m. in Krasa Center (second level).  If you are interested in attending this event please RSVP to Courtney Basile at 630-829-6083 or cbasile@ben.edu by February 13, 2012.

Alumni Association's Casino Night Fundraiser

Come show your poker, roulette, craps and blackjack skills while help raise money fora great cause- the Alumni Board Scholarship Fund.  Eat, drink, play and make lasting memories.  This event offers casino games, silent auctions and raffles throughout the evening.  If you are an alum and would like to attend this exciting event please RSVP to Nicole Cannata at 630-829-6008 or ncannata@ben.edu by February 10, 2012.

18th Annual President's Invitational Golf Outing
