Neff Welcome Center Construction

All Faculty, Staff and Students,

On Monday March 5, 2012, the heavy construction process will begin for the NEFF WELCOME CENTER located on the east side of the campus. The campus map below locates and identifies the construction zone. Construction is anticipated to continue through fall 2012.

INNER CAMPUS ROAD CLOSURE - IMPORTANT NOTICE!

The Neff site is surrounded by College Road, the campus inner road and two stormwater retention areas. As a result of difficult site surroundings, the inner campus road between the campus main entrance and the Lownik/Scholl parking lot will be CLOSED to ALL NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC throughout the construction process. The inner campus road will become ONE WAY only, allowing southbound traffic to travel from the Lownik/Scholl/Rice/Neuzil parking lots to the main campus entrance. There will be NO RIGHT TURN for all traffic entering the main campus entrance. This closure is illustrated on the detailed campus map below.

LOWNIK HALL/SCHOLL HALL/NEUZIL HALL/RICE CENTER ACCESS TO CAMPUS

All students, faculty, staff and visitors parking in the Lownik/Scholl Hall lots and the Rice Center/Neuzil Hall lots must enter the campus by using one of the two campus entrances located north of the campus main entrance. Students, faculty, staff and visitors parking in the Lownik/Scholl Hall lots and the Rice Center/Neuzil Hall lots will be able to exit campus at the main entrance light. NOTE: The currently closed entrance from College Road directly into the Lownik/Scholl Hall parking lot will be re-opened from College Road TO CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC ONLY.

AS ALWAYS, PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN ENTERING/EXITING CAMPUS CROSSING TRAFFIC ON COLLEGE ROAD AND MAPLE AVENUE.
