For regular students, Core requirements consist of:

  • twelve credit hours of BASIC SKILLS;
  • the First-Year Seminar (HUMN 101);
  • nine credit hours of the CULTURAL HERITAGE SERIES;
  • CORE ELECTIVES, including twelve credit hours in Arts and Humanities, nine credit hours in Natural Sciences, and nine credit hours in Social Sciences.
Transfer students may be able to apply credits from other institutions towards Core requirements, subject to evaluation and approval by Benedictine University.
