Benedictine University is honored and humbled by the many donors and supporters who feel connected to us and who want to give back to our students.

Scholarships and awards have been established for many reasons, some to honor a loved one who is deceased, some to help students in particular majors, some in memory of past faculty and some just to help students with financial need.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

First, ask the person who you would like to write the letter for you IN PERSON. If they agree to write the letter, ask for their email and contact information. Once you have this information, you can request the letter by either selecting "LETTER REQUEST" in the specific scholarship application. Or you can click one of the "Edit" buttons under "Personal Information" or "Academic Information" above and then selecting "Recommendation Letter Management" in the navigation panel on left.

If the scholarship requests a letter from a faculty member, it must be from a Benedictine University faculty member. This will be the case for most scholarships and, unless stated otherwise, should be the person you ask.
