Jean-Marie Kauth received her B.A. from the University
of Iowa and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan
in 1995. She heads the Writing Program. Her research interests
include medieval and Renaissance literature, literature
by women, textual communities, science and literature, and
recently, Dante.
