July 1, 2004: The background lobelias (Lobelia siphilitica), prairie docks (Silphium
terebinthinaceum) and rattlesnake masters (Eryngium yuccifolium) all look good,
but flooding has killed most of the golden triangle purple coneflowers (Echinacea
purpurea). The triangle was replanted in 2005 after the drainage problem was solved.
