Adult Accelerated Programs Overview:

The Adult Accelerated Programs at Benedictine University are suited to fit your life. We offer multiple programs, formats and locations. Our evening or weekend blended classes are taught by professionals in their fields who will help you reach your goals. In most cases, you can earn a degree in about two years. Take your career to the next level, or even in a whole new direction, while enjoying the benefits of a strong, values-based education and the convenience of an adult learner setting.

Adult Accelerated undergraduate programs are offered in Evening and Weekend College learning team formats. Students start at the same time, progress together as a group and take one course at a time with a set schedule for the duration of the program. The programs are based on a traditional curriculum that has been redesigned to fit the needs and schedules of today's working adults. All courses are based on adult learning principles and are delivered in a blended format that combines the most effective aspects of live instruction with self-directed, Internet-based learning.

Evening classes meet from 6:00-10:00 p.m. one night per week. Weekend College undergraduate classes meet from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday every other weekend (quantitative classes meet from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). Weekend College graduate classes meet from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. approximately every third weekend. In addition to the weekly classroom session, students complete an asynchronous four-hour session online through D2L (Desire2Learn).
