Students are the lifeblood of any university. Through the collaborative efforts of our various offices, we help students make informed choices about continuing their education. We provide a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the best of the Benedictine values of hospitality and a concern for the development of each individual.

This timetable applies to high school students. These are just guidelines that the Admission counselors recommend for a smoother admission process.

Junior or Senior Year
Visit us. Attend one of our many open house events. We also recommend arranging a personal visit with an Admission Counselor and taking an official tour with one of our students. We can schedule a time that you can meet with a professor or students in your field. We can also arrange for you to stay overnight in the residence halls with a current student.

September - May of Senior Year
Apply for admission. Request a Benedictine University admission application from the Benedictine Admissions Office or get it online. Return the application, application fee (link fee waiver form), high school/college transcripts, high school guidance counselor letter of recommendation, and official ACT/SAT report to the Admissions Office.

January - May Senior Year
Apply for financial aid. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is a government form which determines your financial need. Remember to include Benedictine’s code: 001767. View the Financial Aid Office's website.

October - May Senior Year
Submit your residence hall application if you plan to live on campus.  This application will arrive with your acceptance packet, or you can get one from Benedictine’s Residence Life Office website.
