Open Houses
Benedictine University offers opportunities for high school juniors and seniors to visit campus during the fall and winter. You can learn more about the admissions process as well as specifics on different fields of study.
- Science Open House
Benedictine University has a reputation for excellence in the sciences. Meet College of Science professors and tour the Birck Hall of Science to discover what makes our graduates so successful in the sciences.
- Fall Open House
High school students, transfer students and their families can tour campus, meet faculty members, Admissions Counselors, student services representatives and financial aid counselors.
- Business Open House
One of the greatest strengths of the College of Business is that it gives students ample opportunity to put into practice what they learn in the classroom. Learn how the College of Business challenges its students today while preparing them for tomorrow.
- Liberal Arts Open House
Contemporary programs in the Liberal Arts build on Benedictine values and academic excellence. Learn how Benedictine helps student critically affect the local community and the world at-large.
One-on-One visits
Take a private tour of campus with a current student and meet with your admissions counselor.
The fall is a busy time for the Admissions Office. Please request a visit at least one day in advance so that we can accommodate you.
Overnight visits
Prospective students are welcome to spend the night and learn what it is like to be a Benedictine student. Overnight visits offer the opportunity for admitted students to attend class, meet current students and professors.
If you would like to spend the night on campus, please contact us at least two weeks in advance of your visit.
Preferred Visit Days
Prospective students can meet with their Admissions Counselor and tour campus on their day off from high school or community college. Space is limited for these small group sessions.
On Preferred Visit Day, you and your parents get a chance to tour campus and meet with an Admissions Counselor. There are three sessions – 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Space is limited to allow students to receive greater personal attention.
Saturday Preview Days
Tour campus with a current student and hear a presentation from an Admissions Counselor. Although we believe a weekday is the best way to see what campus is really like Saturday Preview Days will give you an opportunity to learn about the admissions process, Benedictine's unique programs, tuition and scholarships.
Group Sessions
Guidance counselors and teachers who want to show their students the benefits of attending a small, private, Catholic institution are invited to bring their groups for a personal visit.
