Audio/Visual Instructional Technology Support

Instructional Technology Audio Visual staff is vital to the success of everyday technology in all classrooms, at ALL Benedictine University sites. We provide on the spot technical assistance and support, in a timely manner and full maintenance on all classroom equipment. We also provide basic instruction on training and operation of all AV classroom equipment to faculty, staff, and customers as necessary. We are available Mon-Fri. 8am-10:30pm and weekends for classes and events.

Request for weekday and weekend events must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance.

The AV Department also provides:

  • Video/Audio taping of classes but must be requested by faculty or staff only.
  • Video project editing and consultation
  • Video and Audio duplications and transfers
  • Live streaming for major events through our outsource vendor. Requests must be made 2 weeks in advance.
  • Limited loaner equipment for off site BenU events
  • Training on classroom technology and support for technology events.

The staff will also provide technical assistance and support during events as requested or needed. We serve as an on-site support team for any event which requires AV service. Our staff can handle events for a groups of 20, to groups of 2000. We also provide technical advice in the planning of your event and will recommend items that will improve your event.
