Partnership Programs

Benedictine University has developed partnerships with 15 institutions in eight countries. These programs are unique to Benedictine because it allows students to participate in a semester, yearlong or summer program abroad while paying your regular tuition. All forms of financial aid can also be applied to study abroad programs.

Bolivia

Located in the heart of the Bolivian capital, Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca is one of the second oldest institutions of higher learning in the Americas. Founded in 1624 by order of the Spanish King Philip IV and with the support of Pope Innocent XII, the university was intended to provide an education in law and theology to the families and descendants of the wealthy gentry of South America. Benedictine students can take courses in a wide variety of subjects including pharmacy, humanities, economics, technology, dentistry and much more.

Dalian Nationalities University was founded in 1997. As the only Nationalities University focusing on technology and applied science, it has grown very rapidly ever since. It is now one of the leading universities in Northeast China. Dalian Medical University

Dalian Medical University was founded in 1947 in the southern part of Dalian City by Mao Zedong. The university offers programs for pre-medical students from throughout China and the world. Benedictine students can take courses in Medical Sciences, Stomatology, Cosmetology, Health Administration, Diagnostic Medicine, Clinical Pharmacy, Photography, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Social Humanities.

Dalian University of Technology

Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is a public research university located in the cities of Dalian and Panjin in the province of Liaoning, China. DUT is among China's top universities for engineering and technology. Students can take courses in the schools of Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Electronic and Information Engineering, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Foreign Languages and Education. 

Shaanxi Normal University

Directly administered by the Ministry of Education of China, Shaanxi Normal University is a key university under the construction of China's national "211 Project" and a university under China's Innovation Platform Construction Plan of the "985." Superior Discipline of Teacher Education is a major base for training teachers and administrators of higher learning institutes and secondary schools as well as other high level professionals in China. It is known as the "Cradle of Teachers" in Northwest China. Students can take courses in humanities, social science, science, engineering, political science, Chinese literature, education, psychology, tourism, communications, fine arts, international business and Chinese language. 

Shenyang Jianshu University

Shenyang Jianshu University (SJZU) is a university located in the beautiful city of Shenyang, China, and is under the provincial government. SJZU offers adult and professional studies, and courses in architecture and urban planning, civil engineering, information and control science, and urban construction. Benedictine students have a unique opportunity to earn a scholarship that will cover all tuition and room and board fees. Copenhagen Business School

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was established in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education (now known as Forening for Unge Handelsmænds Uddannelse or FUHU) as a private educational institution. In 1965, the business school became integrated as an institution of higher education in the Danish education system. Today, it is regulated by the Danish Universities Act of 2003. CBS offers courses in business, economics, international business, politics and modern languages.

 

France

Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier Business School is located in Montpellier, France, and was founded in 1897. The school belongs to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montpellier. Students can take courses in business administration, economics, management, and French language and culture. In addition, Benedictine students can participate in a dual-degree program. An International Business and Economics major can complete their program at Benedictine in three years and spend their fourth year abroad to earn two bachelor’s degrees – one in International Business and Economics from Benedictine and one in Business Administration from Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier Business School. The dual-degree program can also apply to Master of Business Administration students.

Chuo University, literally Central University, is a private university in Tokyo renowned for its law school. Chuo is one of the most prestigious schools in Japan. The Universidad de Monterrey was founded by the Daughters of the Immaculate Mary of Guadalupe, the nuns of the Sacred Heart, the Marist Brothers, and La Salle members, supported by an association of Catholic citizens.  The idea for the school originated from a recommendation by the Second Vatican Council to use educational activities in favor of teaching the principles of the Catholic doctrine.

Kyung Hee University

Kyung Hee University is a private university in South Korea. It is located in Seoul with a second campus (Global Campus) in the suburban city of Suwon. Kyung Hee offers many degree programs, some of which are delivered in English. Kyung Hee ranked fifth among all comprehensive universities in the Korea Joongang Daily’s 2010 rankings of Korean universities, among the top Asian universities in the 2010 Chosun-QS Asian University Ranking, and sixth in Korea and 245th in the world in the 2011 QS World University Rankings. It is named after Francisco de Vitoria, considered the father of international law. Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is a private, nonprofit organization based in Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It has two campuses, one in Barcelona and one in San Cugat del Valles. It currently has more than 4,500 students enrolled in 19 degree programs. Courses in architecture, economics, political science, communications, education, humanities and cultural studies are offered.
