Health Insurance

Benedictine University, like most universities in the United States, requires all student visa holders to have health and hospitalization insurance to cover the cost of medical treatment. Students must provide proof of insurance before registering for classes. International students are allowed to have insurance from their native countries provided they bring a card and policy of benefits in English. Comprehensive health and accident insurance that is effective from the time the student leaves home is recommended.

Please contact the immigration specialist if you have specific questions about obtaining health insurance.
