Telephone service is provided to each dorm room by the Office of Information Technology. All phone lines can dial on-campus extensions and toll-free numbers. Off-campus calls can be made with calling cards. Phone bills will not be provided. Residents are required to bring their own telephones.

Easy Dialing:

• On-campus extensions: dial the last 4 digits of the phone number
• Toll free calls: 9 + 1 + 8XX - XXXX
• Local 630 area code calls: 9 + calling card number + phone number
• Local calls outside 630 area code and Long Distance:
  9 + calling card number + 1 + area code + phone number

Campus Directories:

• Faculty and staff directory is provided online at www.ben.edu/contact/faculty_staff
• Residence hall phone numbers are not published to enhance security
