How do I log in to my ILLiad account?

Log in to your ILLiad account at any time from the Interlibrary Loan page on the library website using your BU login username and password.  If you have never logged into ILLiad before you will be prompted to register as a new user.  If you try to request an article from one of our databases and have never logged into ILLiad before you will be prompted to register at that time.

How do I request an article?

If you find an article you wish to request in one of our databases, you will see the a link to use ILLiad under the ILL option.  Click 'Go' to be taken into ILLiad.  User your BU Login username and password.  You will be asked to register as a new user if you have never logged into ILLiad before.

From a Citation

If you have the citation information for an article you'd like to request that is not available in our databases you can enter it into the article request form located in the left navigation when logged into your ILLiad account.  Just complete the required fields in the form (marked with an *) and submit.

Where can I check the status of my requests and view my request history?

To view the status of your requests, request history and email notifications log in to ILLiad and then select the appropriate action under the View category.
