First Annual Edible Books Contest
Who: The contest is open to all students, faculty and staff. Entries may be made by groups OR individuals.
What: Since 1999 book enthusiasts all over the world have been memorializing their favorite books with edible materials. The main idea for the contest is this: make an original desert item that is book or literature themed. For examples of what some "edible books" look like, visit the Edible Book webpages at Duke University and Columbia College
Where: The contest will be held in Kinlon 126
When: October 2, 2008. Judging begins promptly at 4PM. After juding is finished, we shall all eat cake.
Why: Because who hasn't ever wanted to devour a great book?
How: First read the official contest rules, here. Then fill out an entry form, here, and return it to the library no later than October 1, 2008. Let your imagination run wild with your entry (or entries!), have fun, and we will you you at the contest!
