Managing Records

The Benedictine University Archives is a collecting repository that preserves  and makes accessible institutional records of enduring value as well as  gathering collections with research and local historical value even if  unrelated to Ben U. To accomplish this mission, we gather records  through a records management program as well as individual solicitations  and donations. The links below provide more detail about transferring  institutional records (including the types of records we collect) and  donating materials. When in doubt of transferring records to the  Archives, please contact Julie Wroblewski, Archives & Special Collections Librarian, at  630.829.6064 or jwroblewski@ben.edu before materials are destroyed.
