Searching and more tutorial

Welcome to "Searching and more" from the Benedictine University Library

Conducting effective research involves a combination of intellectual and technical skills. After viewing this tutorial, you should be able to determine what you need, how to find it, and how to evaluate the information you have found. You should also be able to locate the full text of resources if they are available online.

For your convenience, the tutorial has been broken up into three sections. You will need to view all three sections in order to successfully complete the quiz sections.

You must have the Macromedia Flash plugin installed in order to view the demonstrations. The plugin can be downloaded for free at http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/. NOTE: These presentations are large, and are best viewed with a high-bandwidth connection. We are in the process of developing presentations that will work acceptably over lower-bandwith connections.
