		USA.gov is the U.S. government's official web portal. USA.gov directory format makes it easy for the general public to access U.S. government information and services on the web.

		Google U.S. Government Search offers a single location for searching for information published in U.S. government publications and for keeping up to date on government news. You can choose to search for content located on either U.S. federal, state and local government websites. Hint: Be sure to click the "Search Government Sites" button when executing your search.

		Science.gov allows you to search the both the surface Web and the deep Web (where traditional search engines typically cannot go)for authoritative science information from 30 federal scientific databases and more than 1,800 science Web sites.

Locating Statistics		The library's Statistical Resources web page will provide you with links to various agencies that provide both federal an state of Illinois statistics.
