How to find your Library ID Number
  • Your Library ID number is a 14-digit number.
  • The first seven numbers are the same for all Benedictine patrons: 2281100.
  • The last seven digits comprise your Student ID number*.

University IDs will have your Library ID number printed on the bottom (under the barcode). Include all numbers between the "A" and "D" (but don't include the letters themselves). Your Library ID number should look something like this: 22811001234567

If you don't have a University ID, or you have an older ID, you will need to construct your Library ID number by putting the numbers "2281100" in front of your Student ID number. (You may also know your Student ID number as the "b-number" that you use to log in to campus PCs. Just don't include the "b".) For faculty & staff, the number you need is your PeopleSoft ID or EMPLID number.

If you don't know your Student ID number, you can locate it on the following University documents:

Benedictine University Student Schedule: Look at the top left:
Name: [Your name here]
ID: 1234567
Term: 2004 Fall

University bills and statements: The Student ID appears in two places: Just above "Detach and Return with Payment," and immediately below the dotted line:
Statement of Account for:
1234567
[Your name here]
